Gen 3 in my opinion is a real good soulful game as well, with ton of exploration, with a plot that takes you everywhere and content that allows you to do a lot of shit... but it just cannot compare to Gen 2, objectively Gen 2 simply was the perfect sequel, Gen 3 is unrelated to the previous events in the story and as such loses some of that original charme.
