Can someone tell me why it's okay for New Snap to exclude hundreds of Pokemon from the game but not SwSh? Keep in mind NS is missing even more.

Because the first snap was the same way? Lots of spin offs don't contain all the pokemon such as the ranger games, conquest, pinball RS, dash, pokken, quest, and the aforementioned OG snap. Swsh is the first time a new main series generation has omitted pokemon.

It should have at least half considering this is a Switch game in 2021. And the selection is fucking awful. There are some good ones like Gardevoir in there, but only one Hoenn starter which is the least popular and worse one. Bounsweet but no Tsareena. No Lopunny. Salandit but no Salazzle. Forretress not being in Shit and Shite means I don't get to use a Pokemon I enjoy using or experience its matchup against any of the new Pokemon or toy around with any new moves it may have gotten

And it takes some thought to add each one. If a Snap course had one Forretress, it'd for example be closed in it's shell far away from you until you hit a Graveler next to it with an apple, who'd make the Forretress wake up. Plus some other events, like something that'd make them fight.
It's not like in core games, where you pretty much update its movepool, give new textures to its line and define which route Pineco appears.

While having every single Pokemon in New Snap would've been awesome, that wasn't a realistic expectation, since the first Snap didn't do that and spinoffs tend to have different expectations anyway. Main line games prior to SwSh did do that, so that was a realistic expectation. (It's why I still haven't bought SwSh and likely won't; might or might not pick up PLA or BDSP.)

Pokémon Snap isn't a part of the main series which has let me transfer my Pokémon forward since fucking 2003 up until recently. Spin-offs can exclude Pokémon if they want because there's no connectivity to the main series, the main series games can't exclude Pokémon because making me leave my Pokémon behind in an old generation is UNACCEPTABLE.

This but unironically. Fuck Gamefreak, I'd rather anyone else get the IP at this point. If tomorrow news came out that every major Gamefreak executive and developer fucking choked on their own dick and died so Nintendo would be absorbing their portion of TPCi I would be absolutely fucking ecstatic. This company is actively ruining this franchise. With how much money it makes it could be fucking amazing and yet they constantly shit out low quality low effort low budget hot steaming shit and expect us to eat it with a smile every fucking time.

It's really simple, something even a low IQ retard should understand. SwSh is using the exact same models from XY. If they were actually made from the ground up and had a bunch of new animations, it would be acceptable to everyone that isn't a karenfag. Literally the only reason they're even allowed to keep reusing the same battle system and models over and over again is because they include every pokemon. There's no excuse to leave out any pokemon if they're still reusing the same shit other than to make bank off DLC, which they fucking did. This series is as soulless as it fucking gets.

A mainline game that is about capturing Pokémon should endeavor to included as many playable Pokémon as possible. Especially when GameFreak tries to market paid services like Pokémon Bank to keep you transferring what you had the previous generations.

In a game where you don't play as Pokémon and only have to take pictures, it's fine to exclude things to what's within a region because the game doesn't expect you to carry over anything from a previous title.

It's that simple, retard.

Nobody's that dedicated, you're just upset that people can differentiate the two styles of games and set their expectations accordingly. Game Freak over promised and under delivered even taking the cut into consideration at face value rather than as a loss compared to the series history, Bandai Namco has given us everything they said they would so even if that's ALL they gave us they still did a better job setting and meeting player expectations.
