>>46976256unless you originally bought yours from the store and didn't accidentally leave it in your pocket when your parents washed your clothes, if the sticker is falling off, its probably a bootleg copy. people tend to forget that emerald was massively understocked and bootleg cartridges were really finally coming into their own around the time emerald was released. it's probably the most bootlegged pokemon game there ever was.
i know it sounds extreme but i want to guess nearly half of the pokemon emeralds that are around are bootlegs. the good thing is though they're so high quality they're almost indistinguishable from the "OEM" ones.
There's two game stores in my town (I used to work at one of them back in college) and ours was the much more laid back one. If there's an old school regional GBA tournament going on at that one and your paper was coming off? You weren't allowed to compete because they didn't think your copy was legit. Funny enough, my store actually had a side gig where we did "cartridge" restoration and we got a few, but not a lot of people getting their pokemon crystal (another massively bootlegged cartridge) or Emerald, or FRLG stickers replaced for those tournaments.
I don't know what nintendo used to make their stickers, but I think its something better then anything a consumer can get their hands on.
