>>46978020There's no other answer. There's many Pokemon that GF doesn't care about at all, like Ledian and Typhlosion and the like, but none are despised like Raichu. Look at this dex entry and try to tell me that it wasn't written out of a bitter, seething resentment for the creature that dares to be an upgrade of the series' mascot.
If GF could remove a Pokemon from existence entirely, I'm pretty sure they'd choose Raichu before even Jynx or Kadabra.
On the bright side, it does get some trickle-down benefits from being Pikachu's evo. For example, Pikachu gets a fuckton of moves from events, and therefore Raichu also gets them. Raichu actually ended up winning VGC worlds in 2016 because of Pikachu getting Endeavor.
Although I'm sure that victory was part of what inspired such a hateful dex entry, since USUM were in development at the time of VGC 2016.
