When I'm getting off to it, it's largely from the dominance and bondage perspective - the prey is so outmatched by the pred that the pred can choose to eat them alive, and with every gulp, every inch claimed by that encroaching mouth, it gets harder and harder for the prey to move and fight. With serpentine preds especially, simply slithering around after forces their meal to bend and twist to their demand. Cockvore and unbirth add the ability for the pred to verbally tease their prey, and there's also the knowledge that everything the prey tries to escape only contributes to their captor's pleasure.
When I'm enjoying vore casually/nonsexually, I focus more on tenderness: cuddling and petting the pred until they're so overwhelmed they can only show their affection with gentle consumption; how gently the pred holds their meal - first in their coils or tail, then in their jaws - to avoid hurting them; the soft, warm, intimate embrace of the throat and stomach around the prey, accentuated by affectionate patting or squeezing from outside; soft words as they lull each other to sleep.
>but muh painful stomach acidOnly exists if it's more fun that way. Fantasies are fictional, and if I want my snacks' digestion to be painless and reversible, it is.
