Just started a new playthrough of SWSH
How come IoA wild Pokémon scale to your badge count but not in CT?

The legendaries are at a set level in every game, why not scale the wild Pokémon instead of setting them at lv 60+?

Because there is nothing to do in the Tundra other than capture Legends, so might as well set the stakes early

Because they don’t want you to go into to the dynamax raid cave and get a legendary (even at level 8 they would be overpowered) but then I remembered it was dumb they did that because I could go to the wild area for like ten minutes and boost my starters level by 20 anyway

You can capture legendaries without encountering a single wild Pokémon. I caught a Suicune before the first badge on my first run, noticed the area made the game busted and only returned in the postgame

You can already do that? You can start a new game, go to CT, go straight to Dynamax adventure and get a team of lv 70 legendaries.

IoA is intended to be a side quest during the game.
Crown Tundra is explicitly meant to be Postgame Only.
This is why you can do the final challenge of IoA at any point in time and it'll scale properly, but if you try to go straight to the end of CT it'll tell you to wait to be as strong as the Champion before trying.

Because it’s meant as a post-game area. The normal Pokémon being overlevelled is an intentional choice. Not necessarily a good one though

You need to register the pokémon you want to transfer in by either catching it in-game or transferring in one that came from a Game Freak game, before being able to bring stuff from GO into Gen VIII anon.
