Lefties have been turning everything political, and corporations cave because they think Twitter is the pinnacle of PR, not realizing that for every lefty upboat they get, they turn away 3 conservatives that are banned from Twitter and don't have a voice.
That's the problem with modern marketing. They think Twitter = the rest of the world when less than 2% of the US population tweets more than twice a week. Of that 2%, maybe ~60% are leftoid scum, so probably 1.2% of the US population, and even less elsewhere. I'm sure less than a half of a half of a percent of Japanese people even gave a shit.
