I'm doing Corsola with the Friend Safari method on Y, while still trying some Dynadventures every now and then with Guzzlord, Rayquaza and Cresselia

If you're looking for shinies in general, Ultra Warp Ride is one of the best ways to go about it. I've gotten 3 shinies in the span of half an hour more than once. The only problem with it is the limited availabilityof species. Also they come at level 60 already.

Not counting the Galarian Meowth and Eiscue from the latest SwSh events (and the extra Smeargle I got on GO), my latest "real hunt" shiny was Dwebble from the same Friend Safari Zone (rock type with Dwebble and Corsola)

I totally agree. A few months ago I did a "full" shiny hunt in the Ultra Wormholes and managed to get the shiny variant of every single available Pokémon (not the legendaries ofc) in a few hours. And it was kinda fun

Grubbin is nice, but the only good shiny in that line is the last one. The steel silver with the red face looks absolutely fantastic

Last time I got a shiny was this guy last December. B2, Masuda method, oval charm, no shiny charm.

Since then I've kinda stopped hunting because of work and uni but I recently started again. I picked up where I left off SR-ing Latias in Soul Silver. Wish me luck, bros

Mine was a beautifly, but I traded him away when I reset my Alpha sapphire save. I dont really regret losing all my shinies, since I just like the thrill of getting em more than anything

Started hunting for a shiny Growlithe early March, 2600 eggs so far.

Last shiny before that was an Impidimp in 99 eggs, so I guess I spent all my luck on it.

Thanks! I'm also running out of mons I want as shiny so I usually decide what to hunt based on difficulty. The sweet spot is a hunt that's a challenge but also isn't stupid hard like doing random encounters. Personally, I'd SR for a legendary/mythical mon but idk your preferred hunting method.
