I can see that, but personally, I enjoy filling these out. There's still a section for your best-of-the-best favorites, but it also lets you think about all the other Pokemon that you like. I like thinking about what my favorite things are, and and I love data entry, put two and two together and you get stuff like this.

So, I was about to start on this but noticed some issues I wanted to fix and share. Cleaned up the second golden box in the Favorite column, there was a black dot for some reason. Gave the Trainer column the backgrounds of the Favorite column to give some color for when trainers images are placed on top. Lastly, fixed the header of the Trainer column, a thin line of gold was in it.

Just realized I was being a big ol' goofball, I got rid of the last two boxes in the Trainer row due to redundancy and made the Mega column's backgrounds consistent.

You out Alolan Ninetails for Alola Ice, but couldn't put Alolan Persian or Raticate in here for Dark? I mean I don't like either but they were there. Very disappointed in you, OP. Otherwise good tastes in general, especially Runegrigus. I don't like a ton of Gen VIII Pokémon but that ones great.
