Theres just something distinctly unappealing about the way they went about designing Kalos: From the drab muted color palettes to the boring fasicmiles of what a jap gook "thinks" constitutes as France... And it also bleeds into the meager 70 new pokemon designs. Drab purple, drab grey, drab green, drab purple and pink... GF's idea of France is one big cartoonish perfume museum. Say what you will about Gen 8 but at least I could say it had an artistic vision by James that wasnt so dishonest with itself. Galar is a shithole, but I can at least identify it as being based off a Britian shithole
