Why does it feel so soulless?

Everything from the music to the voice acting to the pokemon themselves, it all just feels so corporate compared to the original.
Pokemon Snap was my childhood. I just want to hear Oak tell me "You were close" for the 3000th time, with that wonderful OST.

I don't want to experianc ethe exact same thing, otherwise I would play the original, but I want enough of a similar experiance that it gives me comfy nostalgia vibes. Things like the music and the VA especially.

It's still a great game so far, but it's just missing that feeling.
