At the end of the day it's an rpg game, any person will play it as they want and having Pokemon of various powerlevel is pretty good for it - you will use your big, scary thing and i'll use my favorites, even if they are slightly not on the same powerlevel.
My point still stands tho - You can use literally any of the 1000 or so available Pokemon to beat the game and there's no better or worse way to do it. And people like you that foam at idea of not using only what you consider "good and useful" can pretty much choke on their own dicks and die.
