It took me back to being an actual retarded baby just sort of stumbling my way through my first Pokemon game. It also rewards going out of your way and exploring.
I agree with the above poster about Brown's map design being lackluster, but I remember having a lot of fun with it. It's just the right level of challenge for an experienced player. Still, the sequel, Prism, is miles better (that's Gen 2 tho).'
