It's been compared to a lot of things, the tranny drug it was compared to which I think that anon meant to reference is Premarin, a maroon HRT drug taken in the 90s, I don't think it was ever compared to estrogen, but honestly I think the truth is far more simple, there's no deep drug-related allegory behind it, it's just take the red pill and you "wake" from The Matrix, take the blue pill and you stay "asleep", ignorant about the truth of the matrix. It's just The Matrix is a good film able to be interpreted in a lot of ways, if it was supposed to be a trans allegory that would've been confirmed sometime before 20 years after the film came out, like the Neo being Jesus allegory was.
