I dont get the appeal
>Pre bank online was fine but vastly overrated. Playing against hacked shitters with no ranking system was tiresome
>Route/dungeon design was mediocre and didnt evolve despite the games going 3d.
>Large regional dex or PSS trading doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things. Both the campaign and cart battles are jokes. I dont value the different playstyles if the game is still boring
>Battle maison was a meh battle facility
>Game has a drop in content between gyms after the third one
>Content between gyms wasnt even that good. Palace of Versailles is wasted on a braindead furfrou puzzle and a snorlax roadblock retread.
>Exploration is garbage. To call the Lost Hotel content is an insult.
>Story, characters and writing are unmemorable. Lysandre is a living contradiction. At least Cyrus or Ghetsis knew their self-absorbed grunts were useless/puppets but this retard wants to genocide everyone but his rich self-absorbed zoomer grunts because muh resources and poverity. The lore behind the legendaries doesnt exist and I couldt care less about AZ and his retarded melodrama
>Team flare setpieces are boring, retreads and bad boss fights.
>Battles against npcs are bad. GF purposefully omits level-up moves or give the mons the latest 4. Trainers dont use strategies or powercreep megas to pose a little challenge.
>Megas are bad battle gimmicks. Unga bunga powercreep garbage that dont require strategy. The designs are overdesigned and uninspired.
>Lumiose is the crown jewel of the game. The city is a pain to navigate, boring to traverse and youre locked out of it for a big chunk of the game. There is nothing to do in it besides battling braindead easy restaurants. The Eiffel Tower is reduced to a elevator with bad trivia.
>The rest of the towns have nothing to do in them and GF lazily added seasonal themes to make them stand out from eachother. The architecture is still the same but with one landmark slapped on.
