Last year when I played persona 5 royal for the first time, and it was my first non-nintendo/non-sports game in the current console generation (I'm not much of a gamer). I cannot strees this enough, but swsh felt like a shovelware N64 game compared to it.

I didn't move onto other JRPGs, but I did start playing classic RPGs which are much better like Wizardry and Ultima in my late-teens. I still like Pokemon when it isn't burdensome with cutscenes and plot although the last one I bought was White.
