BW/BW2, I cant stand plats regional dex, engine or HM spam to excuse its garbage map design. HGSS is just gen 2 bloated with features but with no actual improvements when it comes to its fundemental flaws.

BW was the start of the downfall and BW2 was a game that was full of fanservice to hide the decline

Kind of sums up how I feel about it. It did have some technical improvements over gen 2 but nothing that actually made it more fun to play. It just feels like a slog

It was the DS Lite era. Everything from FR/LG to Emerald to Platinum, HG/SS, BW, BW2, even the ranger and mystery dungeon series can be played there.

I used to consider hgss the best game in the series but the more I played it and thought about it I realized I didn’t like it that much. still a good game but I prefer plat/bw2
