Unironically, they don't care for anyone over the age of 12, thus don't need to bother with high production values, which kids won't appreciate (Gen VI's anime case in point) to use the show to sell their toys.
But you would understand this innately, if you weren't a fat manchild obsessed to the point of a kid's series, you're crying about not getting an anime to your tastes.
