I think people take it for granted now, but there was a time when you just didn't know every Pokémon's type off the top of your head. That's what makes moments like Sudowoodo memorable, because you think it's Grass but it's actually Rock and it wrecks your Quilava.

But the HP bar changing color would probably only be on your side. I think it would be a cool little charming thing.
