You can pout and seethe as much as you want but at the end of the day these are still three wonderful designs that very much encapsulate the core of what Pokémon is about, or rather, what it used to be about.

As a matter of fact, I would go as far as to say that if you can't see past the public perception and appreciate them based on what they are rather than how people feel about them, I have a hard time considering you a real Pokémon fan.
