>>47049082And now Meganium drops off the face of the Earth. Meanwhile, Servine and Quilladin find niches in the lowest tier.
>Gen 6Venusaur: RU. S Rank mon. one of the three best mons in the tier. Can run a wallbreaker set, go defensive, or work with a Chlorophyll+Growth sweeper set.
Mega-Venusaur: OU. Rank C+. Not great withing the tier, since Flying and Psychic is commonplace, so the bulky Mega struggles a bit. Run both offensive and defensive sets.
Meganium: Untiered. Not even on the viability ranking for PU.
Sceptile: NUBL. At a C+ Rank in RU it isn't that great, but as the fastest grass-type in the tier with respectable coverage and special attack, it can carve out a niche.
Mega-Sceptile: UU. Good mon at A- Rank, but beaten by fellow Grass-types Celebi(A+) amd Roserade(A). All about that speed and power.
Torterra: NU. B Rank. Outdone by a bunch of fellow Grass-types- Lilligant and Shiftry in A+, Ludicolo in A-, Abomasnow and Gourgeist-XL in B+, but by no means bad. Runs its classic three sets, Rock Polish, Defensive Stealth Rock, and Choice Band. Also, like before, it does pretty alright in RU, where it is Rank B-, but it is more one-dimensional there: it breaks through certain cores with its Swords Dance set.
Servine: Untiered. It can do some good work in PU. It is in B Rank there(Roselia and Cacturne is A-, Leafeon is A+). Runs a Contrary Leaf Storm+HP Fire set.
Serperior: OU. Top 10 mon in the tier, Rank A+ alongside Ferrothorn. Runs a set similar to Servine's in PU but with much better stats backing it. Can also run a dual screen set.
Quilladin: Untiered. Much like Servine, it is B Ranked in PU. The niche it has is setting up Spikes. It competes with the higher ranked Roselia for that role, but has Taunt and better physical bulk in its favor.
Chesnaught: UU. Sits at B- Rank in the tier. Much like Quilladin in PU, Chesnaught is all about those Spikes, has to compete with the higher ranked Roserade, and has Taunt and physical bulk in its favor.
