When did TPCi start to push Eevee so hard as a side mascot? They made it a foil to Pikachu in Yellow, but after that they really didn't push it so much until very recently.
It gets worse when most of the time they pander to Eevee stripping it of its main gimmick, its branching evolutions, something completely different from Pikachu.
