What were they thinking with this stupid facility the only thing in between me and having a platinum file with all trainer card stars and all gold prints is this stupid game mode

I like it. You can't just rush in with OP pseudos or something, you have to actually put in more strategy. Frankly all Pokemon battles are heavily RNG related, this one just evens the playing field a bit.

Battle Factory is unironically the best skill test in any pokemon game. You can't go in with Garchomp/Latios/Suicune or some other broken shit, you have to make a win out of whatever the game gives you. If you get filtered by the Factory, you might just suck at the game.

For gold prints, Garchomp In Hall, Garchomp Metagross Suicune for everything else except tower

Tower I used Starmie Ttar Garchomp, this would work for the others

For the 100 streak in tower for trainer card star I switched to destiny bond focus sash gengar, chomp, scizor

The max level in Platinum is Black, you can do something else to get gold. In fact you are no way required to play the Factory.

While every facility has some RNG in them to varying extents, none of them are completely built upon the idea of randomness like the Battle Factory is.
