For some reason no one expects it to be scarfed, when with base 95 speed it would be foolish not to. Base 130 special attack is enough. Kyurem is also surprisingly bulky, with base 125 hp and base 90 for both defenses.
I have received so much seethe when I one shot scarf pelliper with freeze dry who thinks he can u-turn at the start of the match, or when I gun down scarf landorus-t who tries to u-turn, when I surprise snipe an offensive threat with my scarf, when I Hidden Power Fire on the Ferrothorn/Corviknight switch in, etc.
He also cleans up good near the end of the game with a scarf sweep.
His only weaknesses are stealth rocks and some priority like bullet punch and mach punch, but those can we worked around.
