So for better or worse the DP remakes are going to be very faithful but will platinum features and the battle frontier return? Surely they wouldn't fuck up two remakes in a row?

Honestly, the only things from Platinum I expect to make it is the updated gym/E4 teams, expanded dex & Cynthia giving a Togepi egg. Everything else, including the battle frontier will likely die on the DS.

Maybe its misplaced optimism but I think they will bring it back, maybe in a gimped way but there will have to be something for what a basic remake its looking to be. Maybe i'm just stupid and they'll just completely blow it.

Game freak had Arceus: Legends planned and we already know it will be better than the remakes because at best they will be hd ports.

giving remakes to a new company was the shittiest idea ever
remakes should be handled by the people that worked on the originals so they can keep the soul
if you want a new company to work on something make it a new game to experiment with

BDSPiss will be a 1:1 copy and paste of DP with no changes other than graphics, music, and lack of game corner. They would be shit games regardless of who makes them

This. For additional context, 3/5 titles he developed (RS, DP, and XY) have the same exact story formula copypasted. The other titles were FRLG, a remake, and BW, which while good IMO continues to be incredibly divisive within the fanbase.
