god I hope so
the main thing holding back the games story (other than GF's shitty writing) if the fact that every game has to be the same cookie-cutter formula based around some false dichtomy between two things that are simultaneously meant to be opposites, but also completely interchangable so the story can be exactly the same

If the games dropped the dual-version format they could drop the dual-legend format too. You wouldn't need to have just 2 interchangable legendaries anymore anon

You could have one major legendary, or you could have multiple that you encounter at different parts of the story, you can have basically anything.
