>>47069029Here's my Octillery rebuild. I've tried to make it viable, without making it's BST insanely high and keeping within the theme of Octillery
New Stats: 85/55/105/135/75/30/BST:485
Suction Cups Buff: Switchout attempts by the opposing Pokemon raises the Pokemon with this ability's Defense by one stage
New Moves: Torrent Blast, Frost Breath, Life Dew, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Focus Blast, Calm Mind, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Will 'o' Wisp
Torrent Blast: Water-Type equivalent of Frost Breath (learnable by more Pokemon than just Octillery)
Octazooka Buff: Base power increased to 100, accuracy increased to 90%
I've sacrificed it's mixed-attacking capabilities, to focus more on it's Special Attack and bulk. I've also lowered it's Speed, so it could work better in Trick Room teams. I've increased it's Defense by 105, and HP by 85, to allow it to take hits a little better. The buff to it's Suction Cups ability also has the potential of increasing it's Defense even further. I've expanded it's movepool, giving it more coverage options and a few useful status moves, such as Will 'o' Wisp and Life Dew. Octazooka - it's signature move - has also been buffed, being increased to 100 base power and 90% accuracy. This, combined with it's 50% chance of lowering accuracy by one stage, could offer it an alternative to Hydro Pump, Torrent Blast, Scald, ect
Not sure if it'll be OU-material, but hopefully it should get it out of being a PU shitmon. Maybe Oct could do with an evolution, or something. Eviolite Octillery could be interesting to use, especially with the improved stats and movepool I gave it
