>>47073595I don’t like how they made it so every single member of the species is jealous of Pikachu and wants to impersonate Pikachu. It’s the same problem they had with every single Cubone being an orphan wearing its mother’s skull.
Aside from that, I do like Mimikyu as an idea. I also trained one for competitive play, and it’s good. It just feels more like an individual monster than a whole species.
Also, it would’ve been cool if it had multiple forms with different costumes based on different Pokemon, with the Pikachu one just being the most common.
