Online doesn't last forever though, servers are eventually going to get shut down. A hypothetical hard mode and battle frontier would last forever. Also online isn't nearly as fun as going on a journey.

Because I want the new games an to have an interesting postgame filled with content too. I like using new pokemon.

Battle facilities that are way cooler than the generic battle tower we get every gen
Maybe something like an inverse battle facility and bringing back the PWT. Battle frontier would be cool too, especially if the facilities are more unique than they were in gen 3 and 4.

BW2’s online was shitty and barely accessible because of how bad breeding is and the lack of rentals. And if you’re bringing up rehashes you have to pay extra money for then SS has Restrictrd Sparring and Dynamax Adventure in the DLC anyway.

What, exactly, do you want the postgame to be?
Side quests? You know you'll just go to 1 location, talk to somebody, go to another location, and talk to another person, there might be a battle along the way. This is literally nothing.
Is postgame a battle facility? See >>47076677 All logical conclusions for a post game = competitive battling.

To be fair, every gen since 5 has battle facilities aside from tower
>gen 5
PWT, Battle Institute, I think White Treehollow counts too
>gen 6
Battle institute again and Battle Chateau
>gen 7
Battle royales and Battle Agency
>gen 8
Restricted Sparring even if it's locked behind a shitty paywall. Some people might debate that Dynamax Adventures is a battle facility but I'd say that's more akin to the wormholes from gen 7 than a battle facility, however I haven't played the DLC

Even if it isn't as much as gen 3 and 4's Battle Frontier, it's still something

? I started with gen 1 and played all gens in order. Sinnohfetuses are the ones who are obsessed with pointless single player shit, probably because they started back when this franchise lost its appeal with normies so they had no one to play with so they deluded themselves into thinking this franchise was ever good for the fucking single player.

increase in levels only means more exp, I'm about to finish the postgame with a full team of level 100s

Yeah what i meant was battle frontier-like facilities, like a theme park with 5+ different battle facilities
Battle factory is the best facility ever made and it sucks they completely ingore it. Battle agency was kinda like it but it was terrible.
