>>47080249I feel like I'm the only one who played this game at launch on the Switch. I can't talk to anyone about it because everyone is just hung up over dogpiling it due to its association with Nu-Freak and SwSh. It's not an AMAZING game but its a nice little curio, 6/10. There have been much worse games.
The director, Kudo, also made Pocket Card Jockey on 3DS before this, which was another one of those experimental hybrid games. That seems to be his schitck. I didnt find Pocket very fun, but I was able to beat Little Town Hero till the end. Its basically just a digital TCG. But with extra steps involving Mario Parry board movement and Fire Emblem supports. I dont personally like how every fight boiled down to "solving" a puzzle, it doesnt really feel good as an RPG. I know some RPGs have major fights with gimmicks in them but this game is set up to only be about major boss fights, with only recurring fights with your rival as any other deviation which gets old fast.
Anyways I dont know why Im saying this since its all falling on deaf ears.
