At this point, every Pokemon game should sell at least 10-15 million minimum, whether or not it's any good. If it's BotW level good, then the games should easily sell better than GS, even RB.

Pokemania is still alive in many asian countries, i've been to a few and pokemon is advertised on busy streets and pokemon branded stuff is in every grocery store. i have a bunch of pokemon soda cans and candy wrappers and stuff that i kept as souvenirs. western countries moved on long ago though

now that i think about it, they used gen 1 nostalgia to make a main game (frlg), a spinoff game (go), and a movie (recent mewtwo w 3d animation) so they're basically out of options now
