Dumb frogposter, did you believe kanto would get a remake despite FRLG and the virtual console ports. Gen 2s remake is 10+ year old and not 3d. Why wouldnt they remake them for an extra buck. ILCA could pump them out in a year after BDSP

I would only want a gen 2 remake if it fixed all the issues with johto (level curves and buffing the shitmons stats), has all the content contained in HGSS if not more, and actually has good graphics unlike bdsp. Maybe bring back some beta mons too like the like kotora.

Retards thought we weren't getting RS remakes OR DP remakes anon. Until they announce and set a release date for BW1remakes, there's every chance they decide to make Let's Go 2 Johto. They make the games for kids after all and there's a fuckload of kids who haven't played them, just like they haven't played DP so Game Freak got whos to remake it for those self-same kids, while they make a game for Spring '22 for some reason....

They will skip over Gen 2 and go straight to Lets G Hoenn.

FRLG did not use stuff from Yellow.
LGPE did use stuff from Yellow.

HGSS did use stuff from Crystal.
ORAS did not use stuff from Emerald.
BDSP will use stuff from Platinum.

Because Crystal already got used in HGSS they will skip over that one. ORAS didn't use Emerald so they will remake Emerald with a Lets Go game pair.

This is patternfagging for no reason. ORAS and the 3DS is still eaisly accessible, there is no reason for remakes.

If I had to bet money on the future games. We'll get Gen 9 from GF, while ILCA makes Gen 2 re-remakes. Providing ILCA stays they may just be a one and done studio, but having remakes handled by another studio makes sense business wise, so ILCA would just be replaced.

There was one retard on here who spammed pictures of the dynamaxed creation trio saying "There won't be DP remakes" everytime they were brought up. The possibility of gen 2 remakes was always a belief on here before too

If I had to bet money, I'd be betting Game Freak buying out ILCA and using them as an entire separate team from their current staff to work on shit like LG2J and chibi remakes, while the rest of the studio does core games and maybe shit like Legends. The fact they kinda came out of nowhere first by helping put together Home, then working on BDSP entirely makes me think GF are lining up a take over of them (wouldn't be the first time, they've bought out studios in the past already) and these were trials to see how the studio handled it (maybe they'll be doing more with Home and working entirely on that in between remakes even). Just smells fishy they suddenly let another studio in to make a core game, that wasn't already TPC-affiliated.
