Chinchou was a really cool and promising angler mon, plus wasn't just a cartoon anglerfish with angry Toriyama eyes
But then we get this retarded moeblob downie fish with two branched-off lures for no fucking reason. Like seriously, it looks like a bootleg "not technically copyright-infringing" pokemon you'd see on an Action Replay box in some mexican flea market.
Not to mention it completely ruins Chinchou's shiny with the same Purple literally every other shiny dark blue-colored watermon got before gen 5, but with a godawful worn-out highlighter yellow just to add salt to the wound.
The worst part is beta Lanturn. Is it worthy of being Chinchou's evo? Not really. But I would at least consider using it if we got that instead of Lanturn. But no, we had to get the Special Needs fish.
