Got a real life pet for the first time!!! It’s a baby kitten that loves to meow so I named her Mew after pic related.

Have you ever named a pet after a Pokémon? Or maybe the other way around?

I name all of my cat Pokemon after my cats and named my Sceptile after my old pet Gecko.

The only exception is my eldest cat, whose name went to Manaphy due to him stealing my Manaphy plush on the first night we brought him home and constantly playing with it for years after.
