>>47095227why would it be bait? gameplay wise, clover is good. challenging and with improvements not present in actual gen 3, without a bunch of silly gimmicks like most romhacks. story wise, alright. nothing obnoxious, generic and simple. humor and fakemon designs largely lean into referential stuff and if you're on 4chan a lot most of it is entertaining. a lot of "oh i remember that haha" moments.
the only real issue with the game is the constant harassment. it's a problem with 4chan in general but it's a bit absurd in clover. like i don't see black people hate in every thread here but in clover every single route is gonna have an obligatory "DON'T YOU JUST HATE THE BLACK PEOPLE??" dialogue, and it's like that for every minority group.
