>>47102991>Preferred TiersRU, NU, or Ubers, or some OM of the month
>Preferred playstyleI don't know what it's called, I like teams that selectively break apart enemy teams, and using weird coverage. Hidden Power Ice Scizor was my jam, Fire Blast Machamp was my jelly. Sometimes I forget to implement wincons of my own, and suffer for it. I also adore using Shedinja as a wincon. Fucking orgasmic bliss is an ubers match where Surf Rayquaza oneshots the P-Don lead, they switch in Xern, set up Geomancy as I switch to Shedinja, and slowly realize Xern has no Shedinja coverage. What happens after that doesn't even matter. Other good times are fucking with P-Don with Shedinja and P-Ogre, Shedinja v Aegislash duels of prediction (The longest duel was 13 fucking turns of shennanigans, double protects, and so on), it's old hat, but bringing Mewtwo in on Darkrai then popping Mega-Y for that Insomnia, or Sleep Talk Choice Band Ho-Oh for the same, Focus Punch Palkia, the list of my favorites goes on. One of my current favorites is Bluff Extreme Killer Arceus. Arceus Normal, Physically defensive with a bit of benchmarked SpA investment, with a Chople Berry and Psyshock for countering Marshadow, then usually Recover, Defog, and a wild moveslot. So damn tasty.
>Dumbest tiering decisionsI kinda understood it when they first implemented it, but the complex ban decision is fucking cancer now. All it does is enforce single playstyle bullshit, where shitmons have to abuse their gimmick, and can't be used honestly in lower tiers where they might be really cool. Blaze Blaziken, Flame Body Talonflame, non-Regenerator Slowbro. Everyone knows the meta is fucked now anyways, so extracting as many pokemon as possible from high-tier wankfests should be a priority. Part of the reason I love Ubers so much is ironically because the tier is very, very honest, with very few one-off gimmickmons, except the ones people keep trying to use out of love, like Blaziken.
