Yes. It was obviously their way of balancing the fact that gen 6 only had 3 legendaries (only two available per version and one of them with no lore at the time)

UBs some of the best Pokemon designs we have ever gotten. The Alola dex is better than anything after Hoenn and I think it gives Hoenn a run for its money.

Nah sorry pal, Hoenn dex is as close to harmony as you can get. Alola dex is full of goofy tryhard shit trying to copy Yokai Watch. Its an embarassing gen thats best left forgotten.

I feel like they're going to meep making 80-90 new pokemon each gen and dexit is going to be a normal thing. In fact I feel like this is WHY they did dexit in the first place. They knew having 1000+ pokemon in one game is too much to manage. I dislike sword and shield but it has nothing to do with dexit, they're just mediocre games in general.

If they struggle to give us 70 mons without the dex having a large chunk of "special" mons, I can only imagine that a 100-150 mon dex would be full of redundant filler mons and even more specialmons.

I really like the alola dex, it has some of my favorites pokemon designs ever, but yeah only 63 "normal" pokemon was simply pathetic. I still think kalos, sinnoh and specially galar, have worse pokedex than alola.
In my opinion the ranking for better dex would be 1-2-5-3-7-4-6-8

I did not meet it that way.
What I was saying is even with dexit they still have to consider the exist of 1000+ pokemon.
That means they have to decide which of the increasing pool on pkmn will have to put into the game, same with moves which aren't even balance at this point.
