Shit like Altaria, Alolan Exeggutor, Guzzlord, and Regidrago prove that the Dragon type is an element and has nothing to do with actually being a dragon, it's all about "dragon energy"

It's the same as the bugs that aren't Bug type, and flying Pokemon that aren't Flying type

Altaria, Alolan Exeggutor, Guzzlord, and Regidrago have the dragon type because they're dragons. Shit like Charizard and Gyarados don't have the type because they simply are not dragons. Gen 1 and 2 would have been just slightly cooler if Lance forsook his Dragon Hometown and Family Heritage in order to become a Flying Type master
Would add extra fuel to his cousin’s rivalry with him if he was the Heir so it’s technically up to her to regain their family’s honor (but she just can’t beat his team)
We could have also had a Lance with all five Legendary Birds of the two regions plus Dragonite in Stadium 2 or the later games’ World Championships
Of course Faulkner would either need to be deleted or reworked but nobody cares about Faulkner except Gen 2 and Bird Keepers

2. Masters : an official game validated by Gamefreak.
3. Your brain if you have an IQ above room temperature and if you are able to recognize an animal based on look/design. Give it a try, show a picture of charizard to any kid (or adults it doesn't matter) and ask what animal this is.
Also if typing defines the species and not the elemental affinity, then you cannot say that Incineroar is a tiger because "tiger" type does not exist.
+ The zodiacs pattern with the fire type starters is therefore impossible.
+Tyrantrum is a T-rex not a dragon.
+Ariados is a spider and therefore not a bug despite being bug type.
+Lurantis is an Orchid Mantis therefore an insect/bug despite not being bug type.

Still waiting for a valid argument against the fact that typing does not define a Pokémon specie. I've never seen one so far.
