Then Gen 7 happens and Smoggies had to poke the badger with the whole DO NOT EVER USE THIS POKMEON WITH THE INTENT OF WINNING GAMES fiasco (its not even like Ambipom where it was used too much, Typhlosion was banned from PU despite the council being unsure, then trapped it in NU were it was unstable). Then, Gen 8 happened and Masuda decided that 26% of Pokemon just shouldn't exist anymore (including Typhlosion).
I haven't really seen much crying from Typhlobabies since Cyndaquil got into Legends. It's just that Cinderaceposter keeps posting "Better than Typhlosion" threads and Typhlo-stans keep taking the bait.
