Make sunny day burn anything non fire, or non grass. Sunny day increases grass moves by 50%. Ice moves use on grass pokemon are turned into water moves.

Best type.
A lot of them over-rely on status moves though. If I were to fix them I would give them all Energy Ball (because basically every Water/Fire type gets Surf/Flamethrower) and boost their offensive stats.
