>>47129243See, I love the idea of Pokemon that can only be obtained by breeding. But why did they have to make it objectively inferior to Manaphy in every possible way? It's pretty much everything wrong with baby Pokémon with the excuse of being a prevolution. I realize that things in the Pokeworld exists outside of competitive, but 99% of the multiplayer is competitive so making a Pokemon solely to be inferior than another is asinine. It makes even less sense because there is is no reason Phione couldn't be a lateral change: HP, Def, SpD, could be 120 but Atk, SpA, Spe could 80. It's even bigger than Manaphy and found in colder waters than Manaphy being bulkier and slower works well.
