Not as much as it is doubles. Alot of the new pokemon feel like they were built specifically for doubles.

Basically this. I dunno how you can claim a game is balanced when the damage isnt even consistent and you can just lose because you rolled low damage on an attack that would have killed otherwise

Then you might get multiple teams where the ai hurts their own pokemon because some moves hit all targets
