Pokemon are animals. The anthropomorphisation of Pokémon by /vp/ is factually incorrect, morally reprehensible, and sexually degenerate. Pokémon are not waifus, they are animals, and thus pets at most. They eat from food bowls like cats and dogs. They chase and fetch balls like dogs. Barring less exceptions than I can count on one hand such as Mewtwo and Calyrex, they cannot speak human languages, nor do they understand it. Like cats and dogs they just learn to associate certain words and gestures with actions such as being fed, as well as interpret the tone of one's voice.
