I'm just staying its pretty odd how Pokemon that have been neglected for years are all of a sudden getting something good for once now that Masuda's not at Game Freak. Who knows what other Pokemon are next in line?

Cyndaquil would've been chosen with or without Masuda. They picked starters based on thematic relevance, not popularity.

Explosions connected to cannons and weasels were apparently a part of the mythology like owls and otters. It's not as strong as the others but is better than Emboar or Delphox.

Nothing with the Pokémon name can flop, except maybe Duel and the mobile Rumble title. Those weren't even actual flops, Masters was just likely to make the most money since it's a waifu collecting gacha game where you're at a huge advantage if you spend more money. Duel was just the TFG and most stuff wasn't overpowered since you could just surround a figure to beat it instantly or just head straight for the base.

I’m pretty sure it can stand on two legs when it absolutely needs to. Game Freak is just incompetent when it comes to portraying there pokemon.
