Yes I'm sure Game Freak is thinking about an unofficial battle simulator that barely resembles the game at all when making their games.

That being said though they really should have nerfed Dark Void to being usable exclusively by Darkrai.

reminder that the real reason they nerfed the accuracy was because you could do SM battle royales online with mythicals, and darkrai wouldve completely raped everyone (as opposed to mostly raping everyone) if it still had 80% spread sleep

Why not just fix the sleep mechanics themselves? Or just make Dark Void hit only 1 target at a time?
It’s already strong enough of a mechanic to have 1 Pokemon being unable to do anything for a random amount of turns unless they had a super specific move (either an extremely weak Normal type move or one that randomly selects moves for you).

Only recently got Aurora Veil despite literally being an aurora pokemon because GF wanted to shill A-Ninetales instead. Still suffers as a rock type special attacker since no Power Gem and Meteor Beam comes with its own set of problems in exchange for higher attack than Ancient Power
>Baby Forms
Locked some now 3 stage pokemon like Magmortar and Electivire out of getting another crossgen and now mega evolution post-gen 6.
>Jynx
Originally treated as an ice counterpart to Magmar and Electabuzz, but didn't get a crossgen in gen 4.
>Phione
Terrible, but also illegal in official tournaments due to its conflicting mythical status. Also doesn't evolve into Manaphy, so only value is dex filling.
>Surskit
Starts with unique typing, ends generic and outclassed even after significant buffs in SM.
>Glameow/Purugly
Only available in Pearl and Postgame ORAS
>Phanpy/Donphan
Phanpy's barely available, as it can run away in Crystal(its most usable time), comes before water routes in Hoenn, is a semi-rare wild pokemon in XD, is postgame in Sinnoh, one of the female-exclusive rewards in B2W2 at the end of the long-ass dropped item sidequest, and postgame in Kalos. If you somehow manage to use this pokemon in a playthrough, it's hardly worth it because its level up moveset is awful to this day. It's a miracle Phanpy got starter treatment in Mystery Dungeon.

"No." Like it or not, SwSh was a massive improvement in pretty much every way possible. And even better, the regional gimmick got banned, making this the most tolerable meta since gen 4.

That was just an oversight, as Mega Alakazam later got an extra 10 points in SpD when SM came out.

In Gen V-VI, Entei had Flash Fire for it’s HA, Suicune Water Absorb and Raikou Volt Absorb. The abilities couldn’t be gotten on the trio legitimately though and got changed to Inner Focus in Gen VII
