But they were just recreating the original game in playstyle and being true to the original, and not intending to go after the original creators inspirations.
This is like being okay with the fact that Resident evil 3 remake didnt stick to the original game script and took creative liberties to make the game different from the original, many people disliked this and wanted a 1 to 1 recreation.
