>>47159147I've finished all the regions in there. Now I'm trying to complete the Pokedex, all with OTs. Though I am doing it really slowly, and I'll explain why in this short (and really honest) review:
The game starts off quite nice, in fact, it was very impressive until I finished the stories of all regions. However, once you become the champion in every region, you have to pick something to do to avoid total boredom:
>Start PVPingThis might actually be the only thing that would keep you connected to the game long term. To get 5x or 6x 31 IV Pokemon you have to grind a lot, considering breeding mechanics are changed for balance reasons; or, you have to make money by rebattling in-game trainers and any other way, and then straight buy the ready-bred Pokemon in the GTL (global trading system).
>Complete your Pokedex with OTsWhile this is not really difficult, it does take a while, and it's a kind of goal you can set to yourself. Also, you get absolutely nothing for completing the Pokedex.
>Become rich and flex your shinies and rare vanities to othersSelf explanatory. Shiny Pokemon have a ridiculously high value compared to normal Pokemon, so finding one of those can actually give you enough funds for a whole read-bred PVP team. Shiny odds are 1/30,000.
You can also buy clothes and various things to just show off to other players, but honestly it's really useless, because the social aspect of this game is quite literally non-existent.
Alternative review for those lazy to read: If you plan to play the original games such as FRLG/RSE/DPPt/BW/B2W2, playing this one instead might actually be more fun and more challenging. If you're expecting a true MMO experience, don't even bother.
