I would argue that FRLG are the best remakes for updating RB pokemon subpar movepools. Morimoto didnt fix the level curve.

Well the competition isn't exactly the greatest.

Unless BDSP is packing a lot of heat HGSS will stay at the top for a long while. Also LGPE isn't exactly a gen 1 remake, it's more like a reinterpretation of it. It's Kanto on training wheels.

Fire Red is the DEFINITIVE Kanto experience. it's actually difficult when compared to LeG;P/Ee, & it has more content. it can have all pokemon up to gen 3, & it has the sevii islands postgame. all that LG;Piss is good for is decent graphics, fairy type, & megas. they even made it worse by making it easy as balls, made it a shitty baby-game- especially with the wild encounters being replaced with literally pokemon go, & the "starter" pikachu/eevee is so fucking broken that it'sn't even funny.

HGSS was the only good Pokémon remake we got. It could have been even better but they really put more love into into it than any other remake.
