Gen 3, Blaziken has a ridiculously easy time compared to Sceptile.
Gen 4, Grass is actually easier than fire for most of the game(Torterra is middling against the league and Candice but stomps elsewhere even harder than Infernape) but the Chimchar line is consistently great all the way through.
Gen 5, Emboar is easier than Serperior.
Gen 6, Fire is the easy mode, better than Water, and Chesnaught is the worst starter alongside Blastoise.
Gen 7... Incineroar is the middle option in SM while Decidueye has the hardest time. In USUM, Incineroar is the best starter and the easy mode pick,and its not even close.
No, grass is "hard mode" most of the time while Water and Fire tends to take turns being easy mode.
