Except literally every fanbase of a popular shitmon asks for buffs for their mon and the only reason Typhlofans seem more whiny than others is because they kind of got shit on by Game Freak way too many times for it to be completely coincidental. Even then they weren't that bad until Typhlosion got Dexited while Zard became a literal God. Ironically, Typhlofans calmed down by the time Game Freak started treated the Cynda-line with some dignity and even made it a Starter for Legends.
The only reason vp is dominated by Typhlosion threads now is because Cinderace-stans are upset that Cyndaquil was chosen for Legends for some reason, likely because they're salty about not getting into Smash yet or something (which would explain the SHE'S IN cope threads earlier).
